Tompkins Scare Park is an annual event that turns New York's Tompkins Square Park into a haunted playground of costuming, theatrics and interactive art. In the East Village, in the heart of the downtown arts scene, there is no better place in the world for a Halloween Festival.

This year we announce the Healthy Halloween communities program which promotes creativity over candy and experience over consumption. Come earlier for kids stuff getting spookier later.

Tompkins Scare Park is at NY's famed Tompkins Square Park in the East Village, NYC at 7th Street and Avenue A. The event is Saturday October 27th, 2007 from 12noon til 8pm, Rain or Shine
